Informational and Support Groups
Child
Witness Groups – Develops self-esteem, communication
skills, anger management skills, domestic abuse awareness, and safety
planning. For children whose mothers are attending a WCH group at the
same time.
Meets: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. For children

Controlling
Relationship Support Group – A group for women who
are affected by controlling relationships or who have been victims of
domestic violence. Also held in Spanish.
Meets: Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Orientation required. For

Controlling
Relationship Group for Older Women – A group for
mature women who are in, or have been in controlling relationships.
Meets: Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Orientation required.

Domestic
Violence Educational and Support Group – For victims
of domestic violence. (Includes shelter residents and non-shelter attendees)
Provides educational information on power and control, warning signs,
safety planning and what domestic violence is.
Meets: Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Orientation required. Call

Domestic
Violence Support Group – Support group for victims
of past domestic violence or for those who are currently in a domestic
violence relationship.
Meets: Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Orientation required. For

Parenting
Class – Positive Parenting and Common Sense Techniques
in parenting.
Classes meet: Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran
Church, 2006 60th Street, Kenosha. 12 week program with a certificate

Survivors
Domestic Abuse Group – For women who are free from
their controlling relationships and define themselves as survivors of
domestic abuse.
Meets: Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. For more information call 262-656-3500.
Circle of Change –
The Circle of Change is a certified batterers’ treatment program
for men or women who are controlling and abusive in relationships. Separate
groups are available for men and women in English and Spanish.
Meets: weekdays, evenings and weekends. Clients may be self-referred or
